I am sorry to hear you have migraines. First you should try noticing what the pattern of these migraines could be, certain foods. like chocolate, wine or if they are stress induced, so you can avoid it, which could help. If you really don't find a pattern for them then I suggest you try acupuncture. In oriental medicine there are many different reasons why you can experience migraines. With specific acupressure points that activate neurotransmitors and certain herbal formulas custom made for your case, you can improve greatly. I am currently on my third year of studying acupuncture and oriental medicine and in the clinic I have seen many patients with migraines who tried everything else and finally with this they have experience great improvement.
I hope this helps and you feel better soon.

Go to your doctor while you are in pain and ask him to give you an injection of Toradol. The pain should be gone within 10-15 minutes. Check out: ww.migraines.org/treatment/pro_tora.htm
Then, ask your doctor about prescribing a migraine drug such as Imitrex. Also, try to figure out what causes your migraines by keeping track of whhen/time of day they usually occur, whether they occur after eating certain foods or not eating for too long, etc. Eventually, you may be able to see a pattern that you can learn to avoid. A lot of migraines are caused by food allergies. There is no reason to suffer. I did for years and now I wonder why I didn't do something sooner. Good luck and at least talk to your doctor about treatment options. They have a lot of medications that can help.

I've found that Excedrin Migraine works very well. I take two at the first sign of a migraine, lay down and close my eyes for about 15 to 20 minutes and then it's gone. If you get migraines a lot, though, you should go see a doctor to make sure something serious isn't causing them.

I would suggest looking into reflexology. for example, ( i am not certain whether or not this will work for a migraine but, when all else fails ) take your right hand and fashion it to look like a pistol, ( with your first two fingers and your thumb ). Now take the two fingers and place them under your left hand, with the palm of your left hand facing down. Place the two fingers on the ' inside' of the ball of your thumb firmly, don't dig just hold. Now take the thumb of your right hand and press it into the gap ( on the top of your left hand ) between the thumb and forefinger directly opposite the two fingers. Firmly but gently start to rotate your thumb into this gap and relax. You will feel some tingling in that spot if you are doing this correctly. Hope I've helped. Depending on the severity of your headache it may take a few minutes to start working.

You need to see your neurologist and get on some type of preventative medication for them. There are tons they can try so if the first one doesn't work don't give up as there are others. Also there are several migraine meds just for migraines so ask your doc to prescribe one for you to use when you do get a migraine.

First get off of all products like diet coke and (of course I wont say what the sweetner is, but you know)
Get off all products with that in it.
Get off all products, and yes I drink them and have added body aches because of it.
But that is what puts my friend in the hospital, those products.
Next, Dyes, food dyes are very bad.
so look at your diet, and get rid of the processed and chemical components that are not natural. You said you are sick, try it.
Next, have your back checked out...that can cause big headaches.
How about acupunture or accupressure?
Don't say no, try it.
Reclaim your life.
Good Luck.
