have to ask questions like "If Christians are friends with Atheist, won't this cause them to stray?"
We are to respect others, not cast stones their way.. just because they don't believe in Christ.
However, we do hope that through the friendship... they will see Jesus in us and through us.. and not see the imperfect human we are without Christ.

I personally, no, because the bible speaks to be in world and not of the world. What that means is, to show respect and love to others regardless of race, religion, no religion,how they dress and rich or poor and always prayer for your friend or friends. Now, remember some of this is easier said than done for most people, ther are some situations that you will have to make a stand for yourself and a friend or yourself for Christ in your life. it will not always be easy and still love that person or persons that maybe against you. God will take care of you in any situation in your life even in tragedy and bring you through. Just read his word and talk to someone that doesn't have bias opinions for advice and wisdom that you can trust that will not put your business out in the street on very serious matters especially, if your young and want to understand what you might be going through. Please, do not forget to pray or have someone pray with you to help you make the right decision.

As a "non-believer" myself, I have many Christians friends and I have never caused them to stray. I respect their religion. If someone has caused a Christian to stray, then maybe it was their destiny.

Because bad company corrupts good character, sure, our Christian values may rub off on them, but it is more likely that their sinful nature will rub onto the Christians, than the other way around.

Because if Christians are friends with Atheists, it WILL cause them to "stray", and they know it. One of these days, you will be thanking whoever helped you restore your sanity and leave that flock of dumb sheep.
