ok so I am going on my first ever blind date, I have talked to the guy through emails and stuff but never met him and so just cause I am kinda scared I thought maybe we should go to a public place like the bar to hang out and talk, what if I dont like him and he acts like he likes me what should I do?

give him a chance don't doubt him before the date actually takes place...but if it turns out to be a disaster..use the bathroom exit say you have to use the washroom and leave.

OK from my experience bcuz I did meet a guy online and we chatted for a while and we ended up meeting and he stayed with me for about a month. Make sure u guys view each other on a WEB CAM if u dont have that then umm not much else left to do becuse if you dont feel comfortable around the guy u will never grow to love him any more u like him now. The guy I met was what I had expected so he ended up getting me preg. lol and now we live together we have a 3 yr. old lil boy and we all get along just great but u gotta feel the vibe between u and the guy first there u go kid thats the best I know so catchy laters.

Very good idea meeting in a public place. Always do that. If you find your self not feeling comfortible in anyway, have a plan in place. Like have a cell phone. Get one of your friends to call you at a specific time. That way you can have a quick out. If things are goin well then you don't have to worry about making up a story to leave. Nerves are normal in this situation. Have fun and be safe. Good luck:)

blind dates are hard and hardly ever work. you have the right idea of going to a public place like a restaraunt or a musuem or a bar like you said, and if you like him then good for you, but yeah, never be too trustworthy with someone you have never met personally.

be curtious. give him a chance. if you think that you kinda have a thing going on over email, then give it some time. dont make any quick judgements. it may be a little different for him too, so remember that it will take some time for him to adjust to the new situation (and you too). at lest give him the one date, and if at the end your not feeling anything...let him know. if worse comes to worse, you guys could still be friends right?

arrive later than he does where ever you plan to meet, then if you see him and dont like him then thatll give you the chance to leave. but just make sure you have some pepper spray just in case. oh and do not go anywhere secluded. that can be really dangerous, im pretty sure you've atleast watched one movie where someone gets killed just because of some dumb decision like that. also maybe you should bring along one of your friends to like not spy, but be there with you, just watching you and making sure nothing bad happens.

yes a public place to meet is wonderful --- and if you are just having coffee or drinks you can walk away --- say thank you and not see them again --- just say no i dont want to see you again ---- dont say yes if you have no intention of seeing them again
