NO NAIR...Yikes! Bad!
The best thing to use IMO is a pubic hair trimmer, $15 at walmart. Just like a hair clipper only smaller. It'll grow back the same, but you'll never want it back.

I've used various methods of hair removal in this area:
If you shave, it will itch more when it grows back than if you wax. Shaving cuts the harrs at odd angles and you run more risk of ingrown hairs, where as waxing takes the hair out by the root, allowing the hair to grow back without sharp angles. It will grow back finer that way, too. If you're going to shave, an electric shaver will give you a closer shave with less discomfort than a traditional blade. Also, if you've never done it before, you should trim the extra hair first, it will make it easier to shave.
If you're going to wax, do NOt do it yourself, have it done at a spa. My first brazilian was a little painful, but I fell in love with how it felt and the next couple of times weren't nearly as bad. They make products to minimize the pain, you can spray on a lidocaine spray 20 minutes before you go in to numb the area and take advil to minimize any swelling. If you make an appointment, ask about products you can use, I don't have any names off hand.
Nair is just a no. Bikini Nair is meant for the bikini line, not for anywhere that a modest pair of briefs would cover. The skin is too thin and sensitive, it is easy to get burned.

If you let it grow back it will be the same as it is now. I would use clippers or shave. Waxing can be quite an eye opener and don't use Nair. I waxed a girlfriend once and she seemed ok with it, but I think it did hurt. If you shave you have to keep up with it - the stubble can rub a guy raw.

I haven't used Nair, only because it could give you chemical burns in your pubic area, and that just doesn't seem like any fun! Waxing is alright, although it can get pricey when you start doing it. I wouldn't trust an at-home kit with that. Shaving is also alright. Make sure you trim really close before you go in with a razor though, or you will dull your razor really quickly. You might get bumps, and ingrown hairs. Aloe works well on helping kill the itch.

Your pubic hair is there for a reason. It begins to grow around the same time as your sweat glands activate when you're an adolescent.
You'll feel great the first or second day, but then you'll get this irritating itchy feeling down there after two or three days. That's because it DOES grow back.
However, if you want to be without pubic hair on a permanent basis, shaving about once a week is recommended. Baby powder should help.

Ive never tried Nair, i use a razor. use a shaving gel and shave from the outward area towards the middle. kind of sideways. always shave the same way, so you dont get a discoloring shade. i wouldnt use a dull razor. that is painful and will pull the hair. not a good feeling. Im NOT an expert, but i hope i help

You could go to a professional at a salon and get a wax, Parissa makes some great wax strips you can use, or you can shave. Just like everyone else said use shaving cream or gel or soap with a new razor blade. Good luck!

DO NOT USE NAIR!
It is not suppose to be used there.
Just shave it;that's the least painful way to go.
Except for razor burn.
Just remember to shave in the direction the hair grows.

You DON'T want to use anything meant for the legs- and I shaved ONCE and do not plan on doing it ever again-actually I don't plan on being hairless in this area ever again- it itches like crazy while it is growing back in and every time I looked at myself I felt like I was some child!! So I guess I don't recommend doing it-but to each his own!!

The best solution is the Seiko Cleancut shaver and Shavy trimmer, used by thousands worldwide.
The Cleancut will leave you with baby smooth skin and it doesn't nick, cut or bite. It only works on stubble length hair.
The Shavy is toothbrush shaped and really easy to manoeuvre around sensitive areas.
