Yes. I tried the mormon church, methodist church, baptist church, lutheran church and catholic church before finally finding my home in the Christian Church.

I am a Christian...
I took a "Religions of the World" 10 week course in the Cal-State University system which looked at Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism.
The one that struck true is Christianity - only Jesus claimed to be God so either he is the greatest liar of all time or he indeed is. He cannot be the greatest liar - there is too much truth and revelation in his words and actions.
He said there would be false religions, and there are.

I've researched the major religions. I won't say its in depth but its a working knowledge. Christianity just makes the most sense. Its impossible to research every religion since theres been millions over the years and that doesn't even ount sects. Alot have died off leaving very little evidence of what they were or stood for.

Most religions have 2 basic core beliefs:
1) Belief in a Divine Power.
2) Improvement of the individual's self thereby being a blessing/benefit to others.
The only major difference between and among any religion is the approach/method or application of their doctrine.

Yes. Why? If you are writing a book, the guide to the religions of the Earth is out there already.

Yes took a college course that covered all religions. From that, I knew that Christianity is the true "religion" to follow. For it is God man, not man made like the others.

Of course not, silly, I'm too stupid to understand a book, remember?
Seriously though, yes I have. I've read heavily into Buddhism, Wicca, agnosticism, and several forms of paganism. I've befriended Muslims, and we've had conversations about their beliefs. Not arguments. Actual conversations where they explained things.
I've been to a synagogue -- my family actually knows the Rabbi kind of well, and he's spoken at our church about Judaism.
I strive to keep myself from ever living in a fish bowl.

Yes. I tried to read the Koran, but it was too blood thirsty for me. It advocates violence almost from the beginning.
I still love moslims but I disagree with them whole heartily.

Yes.... Buddhism, Hindooism, Shingon, Judaism and Islam.....
And if you desire to know why - because I have been friends with different people whom have believed in one of these at sometime or another.....
It's called understanding and learning to appreciate other people and why they believe in whatever they have faith in.....
