Well in my opinion, YES she does like you. Cause I used to do the SAME EXACT thing to this guy in my swim team during the swimming meets/competitions.
And um... I'm not sure what you mean by "Best way to talk to her" As if you want to get rid of her? Or do you want to get to know her a little more and go out?
I will answer both:
1.) I want to get rid of her?
Try the ignoring technique it's slowly starting to work with this
guy who has been stalking my every move. Or just be straight
forward in this off-course direction, "I just want to be friends,
but nothing more... How about you?"
2.) Want to know her a little more and go out?
F-L-I-R-T-I-N-G! It works! LOL... joke around and try and have a race with her. Or just play tag... In a teasing way, flip her hair
and give a sly grin, "You're it!" LOL Also talk about what teachers you have and how TERRIBLE they are (make it funny almost ALL girls like funny!) Once you have a closer relationship, casually try and start bringing movie topics up and ask her if she knows anything good and if she would like to go together.

She's probably interested. Don't freak out, just talk to her. Talk to her during practice before or after the run while you stretch or something. Don't stalk her that's creepy. If she likes you she'll make some effort to talk to you some more at other times.

it sounds like she's interested in you. only one way to be absolutely sure though, next time you see her, at the end of the run, ask her to lunch or something like that. that way its casual and then if it goes well you can ask her for the #. good luck John!

maybe, she is trying to get to know you, know what you like and what you dont like... she could also just trying to be nice.... just talk back to her, ask her questions back, when you answer her questions, leave it open for a conversation.... good luck
