Money is not only tacky, it's thoughtless. Get her something very special that means something. Like if you guys have an inside joke or a little pet name for each other, find something that relates to that in some way. That's putting real thought into the gift and she will melt. Also try to make something by hand, like a card or buy one and draw on it, be cute and creative,

February 14th----Thats a Wednesday :)
Money would be very tacky, its the thought that counts, the best thing you can do is think of what your gf likes, you want to show her that you know her, that you want to make her happy. You don't have to be cheesy and do flowers, candy, etc, do someting that she will remember, something that she will know is from you and that you appreciate her. Perhaps buy her some tunes on itunes, songs that you both connect with, danced to etc., sneak them on her ipod, if she doesn't have an ipod, a cd will work too!

You could get her a gift certificate for Victoria's Secret and maybe some flowers and a really nice thoughtful card. It's on February 14. Giving her money would be kind of tacky.

That's funny, you are clueless. Definitely do not give her money. That shows complete lack of interest in what she likes. You better find out what she likes and at least give her a gift card to her absolute favorite store. One of the best things you can do is find out what her favorite flower is and get a dozen of those along with whatever else. Even if girls say they don't like flowers, they do. And even better, find out from one of her friends so it is kind of a surprise. If you need any more help with this topic, just ask. BTW Feb 14th is V-DAY.

February 14th it is a wednesday this year. If you want to give money put it into a gift card into. Like to her favorite store. You can't just put money in a card. Does this (if you want): Get a funny card, put a gift card to her favorite store that she would think you would never giver her a gift card to, then when you go togive her the card, have a single (her favorite color)__ rose, with you. Simple, unique, but good for your age.

Money is the tackiest of gifts. Buy her a gift certificate to a spa, or to get her nails done....flowers, card and you're good to go. Throwing cash in an envelope is lazy as well as tacky.
