She is almost 17 and her exboyfriend is threatening her and verbally abusing both her and her new boyfriend. This is the third time it has been taken to the school and they dont want to do anything about it. My sister is even afraid to go to school now because of him. He is one of the only colored kids in the school so the school doesnt want to take a stand and risk it coming out as a racial issue of some sort which it is not. He treated her like crap and called her names when they were together. Our parents are getting a restrait against him, but his friends are also threatening her. She is so scared of him, and I dont know how to help her.

Sorry if I offended anyone, however, the issue does matter since any time he gets in trouble he brings up this fact, so that the school staff is afraid to do anything or they get a nice little lawsuit. FYI: He calls himself the N word. Also the school police officer wants to give him a warning. (The third one for the same thing!)

Talk to the school and if they still refuse to do something, call the cops. If she is afraid for her physical safety or her life the police have to respond, my bet is that after a few visits from the police the school will be happy to help your sister out.

She is old enough to switch schools...and of course get a restraining order against him...also, change her cell phone number if he knows that too. Stay away from the places he and his friends hang out and never go out alone. This is something your sister is going to have to take control of, because you will find that the police and school will not be very helpful...it's not their fault it's just the way the system is in cases of verbal abuse and stalking. And I agree, you should not be calling the guy colored...because you obviously have some kind of problem with people of other races, otherwise you would not have mentioned that aspect at all.

If I were you and the school was not prepared to do anything about this, I would go straight to the Board of Education or the Minister, because he has no right making her feel like that. This should be the best time of her life and he is destroying that.School is hard enough without him making her feel threatened.I would tell the principal if something was'nt done about it, a current affairs or a similar show would. How would he feel then. She is the one that is being discriminated against.

Call the cops. And calling someone colored has never been a racist remark to me, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. Just keep in mind that SOME African Americans call each other by the 'N' word, so calling them 'colored' should not be all that bad.

I'd say that beside getting the cops involved, the best thing to do would be have her switch schools, change her phone number, and definitely get that restraining order!

First off where do you live so that me and mu cousins can come and get gangsta. No just kidding this sounds very serious. Do you have any family members to turn to. If the school won't help then you should definitely involve the police he sounds like a punk you just need the police to scare him up.
