Yes I just moved from my home town and been very homesick for the things I know.Its a matter of adjustment.Take it day by day.

Of course! But, since you already went through all the trouble of moving, you might as well enjoy it. Seek out things your hometown didn't have, and then work your way to "replacements" of the things you missed. Check out the local guides, subscribe to the local paper, and get out there. You'll never stop missing the towns you've lived in, but you do start to love the new ones.

oh yeah -- had that when I was about 20 and moved to another city -- sure was nice coming home for Easter that year -- the town that I thought was so boring and that I couldn't get away from fast enough was something I couldn't wait to see again -- strange huh? what's that old cliche saying .. there's no place like home

well lt possibly is. l have never heard of anyone who moved out of their home town and not get home sick. this is normal just try to get use to lt.

Don't know about hometown sick, but it's very common to miss your old environment. You felt safe there. There's always a period of adjustment when we move to another place.
