MAKE HER?

I dunno, at knifepoint perhaps.

You might just try to supplement her calcium and vitamin D with chewable supplements.

She might be mildly lactose intolerant, and milk makes her feel ill...so she avoids it without really knowing why.

How does she feel about ice cream?

I assume (never wise) that she is under 12 years old. First she is probably lactose intolerant or allergic (same thing). Try rice milk, soy milk or almond milk. I would have her tested for the basic food allergies unless she is under 5. Talk to your pediatrician too.

It may be because that she is obeying a natural instinct in her and there is nothing wrong with that.

Are you referring to cow's milk? How about trying her on goat's milk or rice milk?

Calcium can also be found from other sources such as the food that she eats.

Chocolate milk maybe? Yogurt. Maybe Frozen Yogurt? Grilled cheese sandwiches. She is a female, she needs the vitamin D. If you're having problems, you should put her on a muti-vitamin. Even after the problem ends you should still keep her on a muti-vi. Everyone should be on one. Good luck.

If she hates milk, she may be allergic to it. Especially ethnic people (blacks, asians etc) are often allergic to milk.
You can buy rice milk or soy milk for her. Most big grocery stores carry it. I'm allergic to milk and I've always thought that it tastes kind of gross.

Why do you want her to drink milk if she hates it? She can get her calcium from cheese and other dairy products. Do not force her to drink something she doesn't like.

She doesn't have to drink milk to gain weight. If she is a child,
and you are concerned about her weight, take her to see a Doctor.
