Yep, it's true!

When the little fetus enters the world, he/she does not have any knowledge of what religion even is. He/she is completely pure, naiive, yet happy.

After a while of pure joy, he/she is snuffed with painful things like religion, and the child becomes more and more weary.

Alas, life sure is dreary.

No I was not a born Atheist I had two Christian parents. I was baptized a Pentecostal Holiness. I became an Atheist as a teenager. To say a person is born Atheist is ridiculous. A child below the age of reason can not know there is no God. Atheism is not a like of knowledge. Stay away from Banana Snakes.

Actually, no-one is born atheist. Atheism requires a decision. More likely, we are born agnostic, having no evidence of deity, or the lack thereof, we are uncommitted.

Being atheist requires a rejection of the concept of God. It is a belief that there is no God. A baby cannot have come to such a conclusion, having no concept of God.

Agnostic seems a better position. Later, religion, or no religion, is taught.

Actually, I have to give you a reality check!
I had very distinct memories of leaving the previous "world" shall we call it. So distinct that I tried desperately to give a woman a message when I was around 14 months old. Of course I couldn't talk at that age and she couldn't remember how to read thoughts so I never did get to tell her what was ask of me to relay. But I do know that she knows now! We already know volumes of knowledge when we are born, we mearly forget thru the process of learning language and learning to master our new bodies.

I see that little children are pure enough to see angels. That is something that is lost in the process of maturing in this ungodly generation. Man is made is an image and likeness of God. So, from birth this image only gets more distorted and polluted, and at the end it looks so bad, that one even forgets what he was made like. Sad.

I believe we are born Enlightened, with perfect trust in our creator, able to live perfectly in the moment without fear. It is sad that we are poisoned by our environment, with painful things like education and religion, our lives governed by our fears to the point where we fight with each other and feel the need to take on labels such as christian,atheist,creationist,etc.., in an effort to feel secure.

- But it sure makes for an interesting trip home.

Peace.

Obviously some of us were born with a lot less than just religion...

After a while of pure joy, a child gets indoctrinated at school to believe that he came from apes. He suddenly realizes that he has no purpose. Then his parents get divorced because marriage vows mean nothing to them. After all, there is no God, so there are no consequences for breaking promises. This throws the boy into depression. Since he doesn't believe in God he has nowhere to go but drugs. After becoming addicted to several, he embarks upon a life of crime to support his habit. Eventually he can't stand it anymore and commits suicide.

Yeah, it sounds like religion is the problem to me.

That's sheer nonsense! Nobody is born an atheist. Have you ever heard a baby deny that God exist? Duh!

Babies are born with no beliefs and no knowledge whatsoever. They start to learn things as they grow. The acceptance or rejection of beliefs is something that takes place in the process of growth. The default position is neither atheism or theism, the default is no beliefs whatsoever. No one can claim any position for infants. So please get your facts straight!

I was thinking of this the other day. I don't remember having any thoughts of a higher power until I was about four or so, when I was introduced to the ten commandments and other stuff.

You are born as a fallen creature.

And God has given all men the knowledge of somthing higher than he is. So there is no excuse.

God gave Jesus to die for your sins, so that you may have a new nature. That you may know him.

Religion is just ritualistic appeasement.

But to know Christ.... is to know God through a relationship. A pricless relationship.

I know Christ. His teachings of peace are what I follow.
