How do I get the golden-red color from well water out of my hair, and then keep it out???

Try using the shampoo for blondes that keeps brassy color away. It's sold at Sally Beauty Supply and is really really purple, but it works.

If your hair already has a golden-red color from the well water, you might need to see a stylist and have a clarifying or deminerallizing treatment. You can also use a clarifying shampoo and a good conditioner, I like Matrix Essentials Alternate Action Shampoo and the Ultra Hydrating balm from Matrix also. Good luck.

Have your Water Re-Tested.... !!!!
If its still safe.
Get a new Filter system for the Hard minerals.
Don't use Beach !!!!!
