Some people say that death is the end of all things. This seems unreasonable, because the noble human being cannot be destroyed so easily.
Others say that we will reincarnate on earth depending on our deeds. This is also unreasonable, because we don't remember our past, and the worlds of God are not so small that we must return to this little planet.
My elementary learning in the Holy Books says that our bodies will return to dust, our souls will return to the One True God in the spiritual world. That world is greater than this world like this world comparing to the world of our mothers' wombs. If we were obedient to the Law of God, we will enjoy heavenly bliss beyond all imginations; if we were disobedient, we will suffer hellish regret which is more horrible than all known fires. The conditions of our eternal life will fully depend on the mercy of God.

You do not go to Heaven or Hell when you die. That is one thing I do believe. I also believe that no one can truly know what happens to us after death. I know these two beliefs seem contradictory, and in a way they are. But they make sense in my mind. I do not fear Hell and I do not look forward to Heaven, but I believe something else altogether happens to us.

Ecc 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
2Co 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
2Co 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

When we die, it means that our spirits are separated from our bodies. Our spirits go to a state called the Spirit World. Righteous people enter a state called paradise, which is a state of rest and peace. Those who are not righteous are in a state called prison. People in paradise go to prison and preach to them in the hopes that they'll accept Jesus Christ. We will be resurrected (meaning that our bodies and spirits will be united in an immortal form) and judged. Then we will go to a place that's fitting for us. The most righteous people will go to a place called the Celestial Kingdom. These places are, in my opinion, very similar to the existence that we have right now, because we will interact with other people and have relationships with them and so on.

someone explained it to me as Heaven being the place where you are the happiest you could possibly be. Hell is more difficult, because a lot of our images of it are from popular culture, like the Divine Comedy with the firey pits and all that. It's a mystery. But just imagine what makes you happy. only a billion times better.

Dear Cool Crew, You are correct, its either heavn or hell. The BIble says God will use the standard of the Ten Commandments on the day of Judgement. lets look at a few and see where you will be headed.
have you ever told a lie?
Have you ever stolen something?
have you ever looked with lust? (adultery of the heart)
have you ever used Gods name in vain? (blasphemy)
Judging by the Ten Commandments, if you said yes to these three questions, then by your own admission your a lying theiving blapshemous adulterer at heart, and you wl have to face God on judgement day. eveyr secret sins and deed done in darkness will be brought to light. The Penalty for sin is death and hell. Does it concern you, that if youdied tonight, it could mean Hell? It definantly conerns me, and thats my motivation for speaking to you like this, I geninely care for you. The Good news is that Christ suffered and died on the cross for your sins, you broke the Law and Jesus paid your fine. if you will repent (turn from sin) and trust in Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord, he wil forgive you and grant you everlasting life. Please, if you havent, Dont let anyting get in the way of getting your heart right with God.
God Bless
Apsotle

there are several possibilities.
one person described death as simply walking from one room to another.
many testimonies proclaim being visited by loved ones and apearing in heavenly places.
Some people just go into a NDE or an OBE experience. some see Jesus while other float above their death bed.
However there is a famous woman who wrote about many things she experienced even though she was a practicing Baptist she went to a place that was black and there saw a DEMON with terribles descriptions. after that she saw many rooms where hell and torment were described. Another woman wrote a book and said she saw the kingdom of God the city in heaven and wrote many things about her experiences.
I heard one guy describe being greated by demons even as he walked out of his hospital room and they began litterally tearing him to pieces.
What happens to a person depends on the amount of faith a person has. calling upon the name of the saviour will save anyone.

The Right to Enter Paradise
Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

Heaven is the state of perfect union with God. It is a state of eternal life, filled with His perfect joy, peace and love. There is no more pain, suffering, or death. It is the final destination we all hope to achieve.

That is not a Christian teaching. That is a pagan teaching.
When you die, you go into the grave. At the Resurrection, you rise up from the grave and are judged by the Lord, then you will either enter New Jerusalem or be cast into hell.
