Fusion.
I had a 2006 with a 4-cyl and a 5-speed manual. That was a fun car to drive. I got 27mpg real world miles (highway and city).
I have a 2007 now with a V6 and AWD. The mileage isn't as good, but it is AWD (heavier) and a V6 (bigger engine). You can get it with Navigation too.
The Sentra has the Fusion beat on mpg. The Sentra is also a smaller car so it does cost less.
I had a 2000 Sentra a while back and I liked it a lot, but this new Sentra is hideous. So based on looks alone, I'd go with the Fusion. Ford is coming out with a redesigned Focus in a few months as a 2008 model. Take a look at that too.

Well I would definitely buy the Ford Fusion over the Nissan Sentra for the look first of all. I don't think the fusion is cheaper but it is surely the better way to go. Unless your a streetracer the Fusion is definitely much more worth it.

Kind of apples and oranges.. The Fusion is more of a Camry size and the Sentra is more Corolla.. They are both fine (made in Mexico cars) so take your pick.. I have a 4cyl Fusion automatic and it is a great driving car (shares a similar engine with the Mazda 6). and Ford will make you a great deal.. I got my 2006 SEL for 19K. a lot of car for the money.

Go American! Fusion of course. 1. Gas can be good if you get the smaller engine option. 2. Price also isn't too shabby if you get the lesser options like manual windows and door locks. You can get one under 20 grand. 3. Looks great of course! I own a Milan (Fusion with a different name) and it's the poop. It'd let it sleep in my bed if my wife didn't get jealous!

Sentra, sentra, sentra, sentra.
Buy foriegn, toyota makes a really good "hybred" that gets 38 miles to the gallon.
Try looking here www.toyota.com
Ford.. don't buy it, you'll put more $$ into your brakes and other under -the -hood issues than you paid for the car!
Good Luck!

gas, sentra, think its way beter there
price, sentra must be cheaper
looks, dunno, both suck imo, but most cars today do
apperance, how is this different than looks
sentra will be more reliable, cheaper, hold its value
recomend the camry, if you can aford it, or the accord, although bigger than both,
corrola/civic good too
