This is a perfect opportunity to thank GOD that your shy because she can win her over esp. since Valentine day is next week. Go get her a card that expresses how you feel and let her know that you would like her to RSVP her date with you on Valentine day or that Sat (whenever) put your telephone # on the card. Please dont forget to put a couple of hersey kisses candy in their. If she's interested don't worry she will call. However if she doesn't don't worry she's lame and one of her friends will think that's sooo romantic and ask you out.
IF SHE NOT INTEREST THEN OTHERS WILL BE.
Girls/ women loves when a guy/man is sincere, compassionate, romantic and affectionate. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!
TELL ME HOW IT GOES IN A FUTURE E-MAIL or post another question with the answer.

Look, I used to be the same way...so shy. I don't know how old you are, but when I was in high school, I noticed everyone cares so much about what everyone else thinks. The truth is, you will never see about 97% of the idiots from school once you graduate. The sooner you realize that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about you, the sooner you will be able to get over your fears and shyness. If you like a girl, just ask. The worst thing that she can say is NO. And, get in the mind frame that so what if she says no, at least you will not regret the fact that you didn't even ask. I doubt she will spread the news all over school, but if she does, who cares?

How about concentrating on yourself first. You obviously have a self esteem problem and being around people in general makes you super nervo. Its called panic attacks, the fright and flight way the body reacts to certin situations and part of this is chest pains and you actually think youre going to die, rest assured your not. I have it and its a real pain, but have it under control through courses in self-esteem, meditation, and staying around positive people. Going to groups with others that have the same problems definitly helps, and counselling helps to. There is a reason for it and you need to find out why your body reacts this way. Go and see your doctor or professional counsellor to help with this problem.
Fix yourself first, its important ok. You have to be happy within yourself before you can be happy and confident with others.

I'm typically a as loud as f*ck kind of person, but when i tend to like someone it's hard for me to talk to them without seeming weird and such so i recommend forget the feelings or nervousness and what not and it's so much easier to talk. well that's what i find. hope it helps =]

well all i can say is be honest but be discreet like ask hypothetical questions to see where her head is 9 times out of 10 she already knows. Just dont make her uncomfortable be confident and be yourself otherwise she doesn't like you she likes the person you're pretending to be.

i think it has something to do with your confidence and being secure within urself. i was really shy, i wouldn't tell a guy that i liked them, but now i just do it! if they blow me out I'm like "it's your loss". with me it was as i got older i became my comfortable with myself. do things to build ur confidence but just bite the bullet and ask this girl out!!
good luck!!

I'm shy too, especially around girls.

Just go to her and talk to her no matter what. Thats what I do and it works and you won't be as shy around her.

And maybe she'll start talking to you
