For example:
menstrual cycles - mood swings
Syphilis - can cause someone to go crazy
chemical imbalances - schizophrenia + lots of others...
damaged brains - lots of stuff + change in personality
Alzheimer's - severe forgetfulness
aenemia - depression

Just note I'm not saying that all psychological problems have roots in the condition of our bodies (pills can't cure everything). I know some problems are caused by trauma and other things. It's just a thing I've been thinking about for awhile.

I like to think of it this way: we are just chemicals, a big, fat cohesive blob of chemicals that we call a body and mind and all that. Everything mental has its root in what we are physically made of... how we react to whatever stimulus gets applied to us is determined by what balance of chemicals we have in our body. We can kind of try and control the chemicals in our body, thinking positively, taking pills, talking, but ultimately everyone will respond differently because of the different balance of molecules and atoms in their body.

I don't know if that was particularly articulate, but I hope you get the gist of what i was trying to say.
