above all the people who believe simply because they've been handed this thing called religion?

Maybe scientists would be surprised to find god at the source, but with sufficient evidence, they would undoubtably accept him. For all we know, the quest for the origins of life and the universe may be god's grand plan.

Traditionally, one who works towards a goal is esteemed more than one who simply carries on what they've been given. I would think that if god exists, he would have greater appreciation for the people who've devoted their lives to SEARCHING for the truth, as opposed to those who simply accept what they've been told because of some promise of reward, or threat of punishment.

In short, no. Jesus said that those who have not seen and yet still believe are more blessed than those who have seen and believed. In other words, those who believed all along, without conclusive scientific evidence, would be more blessed.

The key is faith. The Bible says "without faith it is impossible to please God". If you didn't believe in God until you finally arrived at irrefutable evidence, there would be no reward in that. That wouldn't be faith. And people don't just blindly accept what they've been handed. They have tested it, examined it closely, heard the criticisms, and something inside them testifies to its truth.

Why is it that people think that religious people are somehow the ONLY humans on earth who are not naturally curious and skeptical? They arrived at their conclusions at LEAST as honestly and intelligently as any atheist has arrived at theirs, probably more so; and the constant harassment from non-believers is a serious reproach against their professed "open mindedness", while at the same time being somewhat of a vindication of the truth of Christianity. Scientists are some of the most arrogant, closed-minded people I know.

Well only God knows the heart of a man some men seek pridefully to try to disprove gods existence because the concept of god puts a moral authority over them, no matter how good a man thinks he is he is still a sinner and needs a savior, that is why a good loving God provided one in Jesus Christ, all the scientist has to do today is accept the sacrifice for his sins and let him be the lord of his life and one day he can meet God and have all his questions answered.

God himself encourage man to explore but explore in right direction......... The biggest evidence that we have an almighty who has created this universe is all around us. The flower, rain, sunset & sunrise, colours, death, birth, seasons etc. these cant be done without anyone who is supervising all this ........There is no need to have scientific researches in this regard. So people who are devoting their lives to explore the God's creation in a positive aspect , to help mankind, like medical science....will definitely rewarded but those who are doing this to challenge the mother nature will definitely be punished.

The existence of the One True God is revealed by His Divine Messengers, not by the study of men. Scientists will definitely fail in this goal because they deny the existence of their souls and all other spiritual realities right in the beginning of their search.
There are of course many scientists who believe in God, but their reasoning cannot convince those who only believe their studies based on physical matters.

No. I need to read my bible more. There's something there contrary to your idea. Something about you've seen the miracles and now you believe but look at all those who have not seen the miracles but believe.

So, I have to say no for two reasons the first religion is about faith if you have that you don't need proof, Thomas.

The second reason is that we live in the natural finite world. God would exist in a supernatural world beyond our senses and understanding. Totally out of reach for scientific investigation.

I can see you don't know much about Christians. A Christian is one who has devoted their lives to SEARCHING for the truth and KNOWING that TRUTH, and loving that Truth. Getting to know Him who is Truth is a lifelong pursuit. To know Him like He knows us - that is the goal. It is not because of promise of reward in heaven or threat of punishment - it is because Christ Himself is worth more than all rewards or freedom from punishment. He is The Prize. Why start anywhere else?

With all the thought that has gone into this section, I couldn't imagine that 'God' would be an individual character-more like a multiple being of different energies

Only if they repent of their sins. If that happens there is a big party in heaven. If they don't repent of their sins then they won't get rewarded because God has placed the evidence before their eyes.

YOU CALL GOD A "HE" REMEMBER CREATION INCLUDES MALE AND FEMALE. OF COURSE CREATION WILL REWARD SCIENTISTS RATHER THAN THOSE WHO HAVE IT ALREADY ON THEIR PLATTER BECAUSE IT WOULDNT KNOWINGLY BE ON THE PLATTER WITHOUT SCIENCE. HAVING PUT IT THERE. YOU MAKE A LOT OF SENSE, ABSOLUTELY.

Science will never find proof of god. All they've ever found is the exact opposite, and that's all they're ever gonna find.

Long live science!
