Venezuela owns Citgo, yes. Valero is based in Texas and owned by its shareholders.

Lord, you just called a Kennedy a traitor!!! Good for you, I think there's an alleged murderer in the family also, isn't there? Actually, Hugo and Joe are probably very much alike, and yes, I would say he's a traitor! Just a note: There is a Kennedy in prison for murder, then we have Teddy (who should be in jail) and there was a nephew tried for rape a number of years ago. Nice family huh???

Yes it is true. And I still don't understand why Americans still keep buying gas from them. Every penny that you spend in that gas station goes to that crazy SOB. Valero is Texan. Don't buy gas from Citgo.
