if you get them from a health food store there aren't any additives and they are all natural.....and just as good as a fresh banana. you should mix it up with the bananas, make shakes out of them or cookies, even dessert, so you won't get sick of them, that is what i do
i make shakes when the bananas start getting alot of brown spots and no one will eat them...my husband hates bananas but if i make a dessert with them he gobbles it up
INGREDIENTS
1 banana, peeled and sliced
2-1/2 ice cubes
2 cups milk (low fat or skim)
3 tablespoons and 1/2 teaspoon sugar varies depending on sweetness of bananas)
DIRECTIONS
In a blender, combine the banana, ice cubes, milk and sugar. Cover, and blend for 2 minutes, or until ice is finely crushed.

Dessert
Irish Bananas
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup Irish whiskey
2 large bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise
DIRECTIONS
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and whiskey. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar has dissolved. Add bananas to the skillet and simmer gently until bananas are tender and glazed with the syrup. Serve immediately with vanilla ice cream.

You are better off with a real banana. The chips have alot of sugar in them and lose some of the nutrients when prepared. Don't take the supplement without informing the doctor first. They are dangerous.

I doubt it bc banana chips are usually fried. That's unhealthy. Fresh bananas are the best.

Its nutritonal value should be about the same, but the larger one would be slightly higher in calories. it is based on the proportions. Most things like fruit & vegetables still depends on serving size.
