take the child to a doctor right away! then find out who's spreading it. this could end up serious. after that, find another daycare. they obviously don't care about the health of the children. if this is happening, what else could be going on there? CREEPY!

Your concern is very legit. Although the child may look well cared for, if she is playing in the street unsupervised, crying continuously, and already in a home where domestic violence occur s; anyone in their right mind would question the child's safety. It could be nothing, or she could be in serious danger. Either way, if I had witnessed that I would morally feel responsible to report the issue to Child Protective Services to be investigated. You can do this anonymously so the family will not have proof that you were the one who called. If it turns out that your theory was wrong and the child is fine, then the worst that happens is someone comes out for a visit or two to investigate, no harm there. But if you are correct which sounds very possible, then I would hate to see something terrible happen that could have been prevented by one anonymous phone call. Im sure you'll agree.

It doesn't matter what you do, your child is being re-exposed very time she goes back. This has nothing to do with ointment. Ringworm is a fungus. The daycare HAS to be disinfected, including the carpet and couches. Send them a registered letter before you do anything. If you terminate your contract with them and they sue you, that least you have proof. Don't forget to underline how many treatments you've given your daughter. Keep your bills. Or any other proof of all course of action related to treatment. My sure you keep a copy for yourself and send the original. If they don't do the decontamination of the WHOLE daycare you may not have a chose but to change facilities.

the best way to get rid of ringworm is by using Tinactin or Lotrimin, they are both anti-fungals, and yes, they're the same medications used to treat athletes foot! but they also get rid of ringworm as well.
Good Luck.

Tinactin is what I used when my cats gave it to me years ago, cleared it right up. Him being 3, you might want to just ask the Dr if you can use it on him. I agree with everyone, this daycare needs to be checked out!! Good luck and I'm sorry your baby is going through this, it really itches.

I would get her out of that day care! Ask your doctor what he/she recommends for treatment. When I had it I just used over the counter medicine that said it treated ring worm and it worked but since she is a child, you should check with a doctor first.

Hi LUCKY F!!!

You need to take your child to the doctor!!!! ASAP!!!

This should not be treated with over the counter medication.

Ring worms, is a very infectious disease and if not treated

properly and soon, could affect other areas in the body.

Please, do take your child to the doctor before it is to late, you

should avoid worst consequences.

GOD BLESS YOU & HAPPY LIFE

A.Z.

You need to find a new daycare center. Take her to her doctor asap and to a dermatoligist. I would have some blood work done just to check all her systems out.
