I know it is hard to understand AND sympathize, but LITERALLY - PMS causes the body to react to a fluctuation of hormones that has the identical affect (chemically in the brain) of a drug withdrawl. This is partly why cravings for different foods happen as well. The body is missing something and us women try to find it in the fridge. You best bet is to steer clear as best you can and keep a journal about what you REALLY think when your Mom is liek this - and why...... You will get to vent and keep your sanity...
Good luck

It could be one of two things. Either she is using PMS as an excuse to take out lifes frustrations on you, or she has a true harmone problem and just can't seem to get things the way they should be. I hope for your sake it is the latter. I would stick with the just saying nothing approach. At least you didn't say anything and when asked you did what you were suppose too. You do need to talk to her and ask her if she could be a little more curtious about her attitude.

I don't know why, my mom have never treated me different so I can't say it's the actual pms or something else causing her to treat you that way.

Maybe because you are an annoying child who doesn't take the time to understand how mother is feeling.

hormones go crazy during PMS, it can make someone lash out at another person for no reason. She should go to the dr and take something for that.

Talk to her when she's in one of her good moods and tell her how you feel.
