Should be fine - watch for swelling - if that occurs, you can give them half a benadryl. Happened to a puppy I had years ago - they were fine afterwards.

It should be ok. Black widow poison has to be entered into the blood stream. The spider will be digested and the dog will be fine.

I wouldn't think that it would hurt the dog, as long as the dog doesn't have any stomach ulcers or anything that would cause an opening in the mucosal layer of the g.i. tract. I know that people can drink rattlesnake venom and it will not harm them unless something in their g.i. tract is already damaged.

I don't think it will hurt it. Just not enough venom. See what your vet says tho. He will know best.
