Doesn't have to cost anything! Many clinics -- particularly Gay & Lesbian centers -- will test for absolutely FREE and anonymously. You have a better shot finding one in a major city vs. a small town, but anonymity is the way to go. They might require some brief counseling (like, 10 minutes or so) accompanying the results. But then you're free and done! At no cost!

Your health insurance should be able to cover the test. Otherwise search for local clinics and it should cost next to nothing through a clinic. Good luck!

If you go to a clinic like Planned Parent Hood, or a regular health clinic it's FREE. If you go through a regular doctor, it depends on the lab company they use. Charges can go anywhere from $50 to $150.
