Learn to laugh at yourself, your mood, the way you act or behave when you are mad etc...
Take a walk, relax a bit, a long hot shower or bath.
Call a friend that has a way of lifting your spirits.
Go somewhere and scream, kick, punch the air, jump up and down, and get it all out Grumpy, poopy, smoochy face!
Smile! That helps more that you know.

Best way is to get your mind focused on completing a task - one that will take all of your concentration. something like trying to do a jumble or crossword puzzle in the paper. Maybe a sudoku puzzle from one of the online sites. When you have solved the puzzle, you will get a warm fuzzy at having accomplished a feat, and will ease the bad mood.

I even have this situation, i would be in a bad temper for no reason or some reason and its debilitateing. i like to take 10 minutes and bypass out area or sit down in my motor vehicle.. close my eyes and think of roughly each and every of the justifications I could be in a physically powerful temper. Or write down despite your feeling, words, sentences, photos or an entire letter... and rip it up in to tiny products and throw them away alongside along with your undesirable approach.

Smiling's actually been proven to help. Since you usually smile when you're happy, you're classically conditioned to feel happy when your muscles are in that position. So, watch a funny show or listen to a comedian, or just force a smile, but it should help eventually.
