it's one of the advantages of being lean, you can eat whatever you want. once your body is a fat burning machine is very hard to gain a substantial amount of body fat if you keep exercising.

I eat cookies, ice cream and cake all the time but I'm also at 10% body fat

I'd have to say that exercising does not give you free license to eat anything and everything you want. That six egg cheese, bacon and sausage omelette with a side of texas toast is still just as bad for you even when you exercise.

If you have a bad diet, it's like running six miles, then magically removing half of the distance. Why would anyone want to do that? Additionally, you still run the risks of health problems if you have a bad diet. And, your body needs decent nutrients even more so when you're working out.

This doesn't mean you have to cut out everything that's considered "bad". I think any realistic diet allows for occasional cheating, as long as it's in moderation and not too often.

You'll be amazed how soon you not only get used to a good diet, but start abhorring the bad stuff. When you go into a fast food joint, you may nearly gag at the smell of all the grease.

It's actually very possible and it happens all the time. Don't worry so much about what you eat; society is so caught up in food these days. Just go out and have fun; you'd automatically be exercising that way. Go for a walk, run in a race, play basketball, anything...the human body does NOT become fat within a week or two, so don't worry.

Easy, yes. I mean, I eat what I want and I don't really exercise, so it's definitely possible (and I still don't gain weight, which means I'm really lucky).
Is it necessarily healthy? Well, that depends on what you want to eat. I mean, the best diet plan in the world: Eat balanced and exercise. You can still eat what you want, in moderation, and you're not cutting out huge pieces of your diet (I seriously cannot understand how people believe that it's the buns on quarter pounders that are making them fat, not the quarter pound of beef they're eating.) Exercising in general is a good idea, and if you eat well, you can definitely treat yourself to life's little indulgences.

It's not necessarily about the "what" as much as it's about the "how much." Moderation is always the key and working out doesn't mean calories don't count. I have found a great balance by staying active and watching my portions and I'm pretty darn skinny! And I don't have to starve or deprive myself -- but, again, I watch the amounts very carefully.

you can eat whatever you want BUT you have to make sure you dont go over your calorie limit. And try to avoid eating too much obvious fatty foods like french fries, cake, etc.
