If someone could take all the sponges out of the ocean, would the level rise or drop? because with them in there, they equal some sort of mass and would push the level up right? but without them in there the mass would decrease as would the ocean level.
But on the other hand, they hold water dont they? so that may make the level rise if you remove them, i mean then the water would all be back in the sea.
reading through this im feel well dumb asking, but i really want to know.

Well, I would think that the ocean would drop, because even if sponges hold water, the mass is still there, and you would be removing it, right? You would also be removing the water that remained in the sponges (along with the sponges), that didn't drip out and would evaporate later.

Even though the effective volume of the sponge is small, it still displaces a finite quty of water..so the level would fall..and it would fall more if you squeezed the sponge out.

the ocean level will drop and it could result in an ocean of sponge

Your intuition is right. If you take ANYTHNIG out of the sea, the level will drop. Sponges, whales, the Titanic, anything.
