A little carcasm as I roll my eyes, because most won't know the answer. Because your to busy being programed to beleive what ever your pastor tells you, but, anyways. Here's the question.
Is Jesus , God? but think about some points, before you answer. On the cross, jesus looked to heaven, asking his father to remove this cup from me. Who was he asking? When Jesus went off to prey alone, who was he preying too?, He wasn't preying to himself, that doesn't make much sense. And, oh, yes....when he died, he was dead for three days, well, he didn't ressurect himself. Some one else had to do it. Who was it? Jesus also, said "I must do the will of him that sent me, If he were God, he would not have said that! IT WOULDN'T HAVE MADE SENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do any of you "trinitarians, have any more bright ideas?

ok, professor of theology.....
first of all, Jesus addressed His Father God, part of the Holy Trinity where all three parts are God, in the garden....not on the cross....and asked, if it were possible, for God the Father to remove the cup from Him.
when Jesus was dead for two plus days.....not three....he was not just lying around dead....He went to Hell for YOU and to tell Satan that all those souls he thought he had stolen from God were no longer his for Jesus had paid their sin debt in full.
Yes, Jesus arose from the dead. no one "arose" Him. Jesus, as God, was and is capable of doing that by Himself.
I am sure that you talk ed to your Father.
why do you find it so unusual that Jesus prayed to His father?
here are some words from God that describe your problem:
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;
but unto us that are saved it is the power of God."
1 Corinthians 1:18
"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools".
Romans 1:22
"The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14 (New International Version)

Well the answer is the history of the world. If you step out of the religious box for a second you need to know when the bible was written and who wrote the bible. I know alot of people answer by their faith and never really challenge the doctrine they read. I have been searching for this answer for about a year and I have found the answer. Here it goes.
The bible was created by man that were suppose to be given god divine inspiration but if you look very hard between the bible and the tanakh(jewish) their is a lot of conflict. The jews do not believe jesus is the messiah because he does not fullfill the prophesy. There are 4 requirements and Jesus Does not fit any. Jesus is actually Mithra which was created in babylon. Paul which was saul created alot about the new testiment and went away from the jews. Then Constantine the ruler of rome in the 280-300ad accepted christainty as his new religion of rome and every thing the pagan romans practice back then you will find in christainty. example the trinity(many gods..which is against 10 commandments which jews believe but paul erased because you are saved by grace.) Well i will leave it at that. I challenge to every christian to really learn the history that surrounds the bible and you will open your eyes. I know this is very hard to hear and it was for me. But don't you every wonder why the Tanakh is so different then the old testament bible. The new testament wasn't even written by people that knew Jesus personally.

1 John 5:7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
During Jesus' time on earth was the only time that we see a separation of the trinity. Jesus was fully man and fully God. This is what is meant as the mysteries of God. I also believe that our finite mind will never fully understand all that the is to know about God, but that it will be revealed to us in Heaven.

No, Jesus spoke of being a son of God in the same way he meant we are all children of God. As a term for God, the word "Father" was, and still is, being used metaphorically, and does not imply parentage.

Either Jesus was God, or Jesus was not God. He can't be both. If he was God, he would have known what he was doing to himself, and wouldn't have asked why he was forsaking himself.

Question arises, Is God The Almighty is Human??
Of course NOT.
Human can not be God, Human is creation of God, and God Almighty is Creator.
Jesus(Peace be upon Him), says
I am Son of man:

Son of Man is used 14 times in Mark and was Jesus' favorite term for himself. It describes the servant role he willingly assumed. Sometimes the term is used to describe his divine authority, his sacrificial role and his future glory when he returns. By taking on this title in Mark 13:26 and 14:62, Jesus established himself as the fulfillment of the heavenly authority figure of Daniel 7 who is granted the right to come to earth, rule and judge on behalf of God.

Say, He is God, the One and Only, The Eternal, Absolute; He begets not, Nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him." (Qur'an. Ch 112)

"God the Ultimate reality is One, and everything other than God comes from God and is related to Him. No true understanding of anything is possible unless the object in view is defined in relationship to the Divine. All things are centered on God." (Chittick, William. Article, 'The Concept of Human Perfection.')

Devout christians say so, using as evidence the accounts written some three generations after Christ's death. These accounts, beginning with Mark who did NOT claim Christ was born of a virgin or that he was capable of the supernatural things mentioned in other accounts.

Mathew and the other two gospels then began to mention all sorts of miracles and supernatural acts performed by Christ, despite NONE of them ever being mentioned by the journalists of that day who lived in the area.

For that reason, modern religious thinkers believe that Christ was
a Jewish preacher who broke away from his own religion and formed a following of his own. Seventy years later writers began reporting Christ's ministry before his death.

It was not until the year 325 when the Roman Emperor chose Christianity as the official religion that Christ was named as the leader of what is now known as "Christianity" and claimed that he was "the son of God", so therefore a "God" himself.

Most christians, including myself consider Christ as the "leader" of the Christian church and that he was actually a man who lived for 33 years. If DNA tests had been available at that time my guess is that Christ's DNA would show he was aan actual person with a mother and father and six brothers and sisters.

The acknowledged fact is that Christ's influence on the world far surpasses that of any other human being that ever lived, whether you choose to call him a man or a prophet or a god.

Yes. Jesus is God. He is part of the Trinity, three in one. 1 John 5:7 says, "For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one." When it says the Word, it is talking about Jesus because John 1:14 says "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." And, you know what, He actually DID resurrect Himself. He gave His life freely. He laid it down for you and me. Then He overcame death, hell, and the grave and rose 3 days later. God bless you and I hope you find the truth.

Firstly the word is pray , not prey. Prey is something you hunt for and eat.

No Jesus is NOT God, he is the son of God. That's why he prayed to his father to help him out at the cruxification , just like any child would ask his parent for help.

It might help your hypothesis , if you could actually spell. Sense is spelled with a se no ce.

The trinity is God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, altho separate, they are one as GOD created everything including Jesus and the HOLY Spirit.

I suggest more time in bible study or comparative religions classes for you, it's obvious you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

must you ask pointless questions....of Course Jesus is God. It's the basic foundation of Christianity.

God the Father was He who sent him.

Jesus had a human body, so he was prone to feelings of abandonment. He was also, as a human, restricted by time and the earthly form of communication with God the Father, and Holy Spirit: prayer.

Christ did raise himself from the dead, as he said "I will destroy the temple [his body] and rebuild it in three days". Try actually reading the Bible.

these are not told to me by a pastor nor did I learn it from another human being. These are logical and spiritual conclusions from the Bible.

got any more questions, genius?

Jesus is the way to God no one can go to the Father but thru the son that is why he died for our sins we are not worthy of God for our sins his blood cleanses us and he is the only one whom God says he was well pleased with. Raised a Catholic but have just read my bible 4 times and don't believe in the trinity as one being Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father and no one knows the end of the earth's days or of the rapture but the father thus meaning they are different but with one purpose and spirit.
