IF you could go from Abilene or Killeen, you'll find some brilliant offers to Vegas from Allegiant Air, but this airline does not participate on other booking sources--to keep their costs down. Check http://www.allegiantair.com -- I see $21+tax departing on Feb 5th, for example.

Did you check Hotwire.com? They usually have the cheapest tickets if you wait until a few weeks before you go. I get my tickets from there when I fly home and they are always cheapest. Don't know about dallas to las vegas but give it a shot
