Ouch, that's going to be 600 or 700 dollars for new glass (and you likely won't find used glass for a 2006).

Most dealers won't install windshields themselves, they usually have an outside company do it for them.
Best thing to do is get your phone book out and call to several of your local glass companies and price around. Most will even come out to where you're at and install it for you. The locally owned independent places are usually the best deal.
Most of the time, you will find about the same price at a local glass supplier as the local salvage yard, and the local glass supplier will use a brand new windshield without pits, nicks, scratches, etc. It's well worth a little extra to get a new one installed over a used one.

DO NOT GO TO DEALERSHIP!!! Check your area for scrap yards & auto wrecking yards. A good second hand one (just as good as new) should run you about $200-$270 installed.
