Energy efficient lightbulbs, pulling the plugs on rarely used stuff around the house, smaller, fuel efficient cars, bring some plants into the house, and join this monthly service that plants 4 trees a month for you. 4 trees replace the CO2 you use every month.

Its bound to happen. When the ice caps melt the Earth will shift on its axis causing the moon to shift in its orbit and the combination will change the Earths elliptical path around the sun causing the Earth to cool down and the cylcle will start all over again. The Earth will never be the same again. Oh by the way, don't forget about the comet that will hit the earth (like one does every 400000 years or so. Or more closer in time - the earth quake from the Ohio fault that is over due.

Picket at a polluter's factory gate. Millions of tons of crap DAILY into the atmosphere is nothing to sneeze at. Pun intended.

We are screwing ourselves over for a buck.

Stepping on our own ducks.
Cutting off our nose to spite our finch.
Kicking ourselves in the aardvark.

For the almighty dollar we're ruining it for everybody and everything, and people who can't accept it are three fries short of a Happy Meal.

There is nothing we can do about global warming. It is caused by solar cycles. We are along for the ride. We didn't cause it and we can't stop it.
