Is this a healthy thing? I am worried that if I keep letting him hump his toys his sex drive will increase...or something else harmful or negative.
He is a 1.5 year old king charles, neutered.

We have a friend who's small dog seemed to think my cocker spaniel was his personal "hairy-legged blond" girlfriend. He was too short to mount her so he "grabbed" the only area he could reach. I found this "unacceptable behavior" (according to Cesar Milan) and when he spent a week with me while his "mom" was away, I started using a firm and consistent sound (something like "aaaaaannnnt") whenever he would even begin to "circle" with his butt towards her. His "mom" allows him to "hump his monkey" whenever he wants at his house -- but at our home, it is not acceptable.

If he's neutered he has no sex drive, so that doesn't need to be a concern for you. Humping toys is fairly normal and doesn't have any negative ramifications....as long as he doesn't begin to hump people or other dogs. Humping tends to be a dominent behavior, and there's no issue with him being dominent over his toys. However, if he begins to do it to other dogs or ESPECIALLY people, it needs to be stopped and corrected immediately.

He might desire to be questioning that now on account that he's the only "unfastened" male that he's making an attempt to teach that he's suitable canines. It has exceeded off to a pal of mine. she had 3 canines. 2 male a million woman and whilst she have been given the single male fixed the quite a few male began humping the female(who grew to become fixed). whilst they have been given the quite a few canines fixed he stopped.
