...but someone she has flirted with over the years and fooled around w/ once? We are grown-ups, not kids... Will she be judged for sleeping with him after they go out for drinks?? Or is it about the connection?

You said it, you two are grown-ups not kids, so what do you care if you are judged? It's nobody's business but yours, do what feels right to YOU.

Hard to say, but to try to narrow things down...where do you see the relationship going? How serious can it be (is it)?

When I started going out with my now wife of 10 years, we took it VERY slow. I was really into her, and let her set the pace. We started dating at age 25, so we were not kids either. However, I saw the long term potential. While sexually frustrating, I REALLY liked that her standards were so high because it meant that she was not...well, to be a bit crude...worn and used...by the time I met her. We waited MONTHS, but then we were in a serious relationship, not just flirting.

To answer your question, I think it's about connection, if you want a quality relationship take your time. You'll get there soon enough, and in the long term, you be happier for it.

Good luck!

going to bed after a few drinks?!? well me personallly

i wouldnt sleep with a guy until we are in a somewhat stable relatioship. yes she would be judged for going to bed just like that. and those that claim they dont judge they lie. i sincerely believe its between those two ppl involved.

now lets say yal have been seeing each other for a while and THEN yal decide to go out for drinks and end up having sex afterwards?!? THATS FINE!

I don't believe in these silly rules. If he is not married then do what you want. I myself would have to have strong loving feelings for him though. Why would you be judged? Is he the kind to talk to others about it? If he is I wouldn't even go out for drinks with him.

Why rush it? I'd wait a while, nothing good comes from pushing things too quickly. Unless all you are after is a one-night stand, in which case you might as well get on with it!

Good luck!

p.s What others think of you doesn't matter. What you think of yourself does. Be true to yourself.

If you have feelings of love between you then who cares. Nature has a way of letting two people know when they was to get close and sleep together. You might find he's not ready yet, unlikely but possible.

Who can say how others will judge. If she wants to sleep with him, it's just their business.
A girl should never sleep with anyone she is not comfortable with.

Who cares what anybody thinks, they are both adults , she should do whatever she wants! If she feels like sleeping with the guy after their drinks then so be it.

She shouldn't care if she's being judged for sleeping with him after having drinks.People always talk and it's none of their business anyway.
