So, in my college dorm, I signed up to paint a mural on our wall. I need some ideas...I can sort of copy another piece of art (so long as I give credit.) Do you have any ideas of beautiful pieces of artwork that I could paint? Which painting is most beautiful to you, and why?

Check out the Mural Arts Project in Philadelphia, PA headed by Jane Golden. There are thousands to choose from throughout the city. They were what Prince Phillip and his new wife explored when they recently visited Phila.

The simpler the better. I think Georgia O'Keefe's flower paintings are gorgeous and you could probably mimic one pretty easily. Obviously it wouldn't be identical, but you could use her work as inspiration. Here are a couple of websites to view her work.
