God is good, Jesus is sinless "the perfect lamb", the Holy Spirit real and righteous. Only sinful humans partake of these "lusts of the flesh" (see the Book of Romans)

No I wouldn’t go that far, I think it’s simply that from time to time the biblical god suffered from schizophrenia and thought he was the highest god. Now don’t get me wrong because that fellow is powerful to be sure, but like all imperfect demiurges, he makes mistakes and when he does he doesn’t like it and then you have watch out. Well I do admire his human characteristics.
Now concerning Jesus and his father, well the Christians don’t know what they’re talking about and their theology has been in shambles for millennia (those poor people mean well but they can’t help it that they’re not so intelligent and often illiterate). Well anyway Jesus is not the father, actually, the father is the father of Jesus (ie. father means, duh, father, and Jesus was his, duh, son). And also, Jesus never taught that his father is that fellow in the Jewish bible. Actually Jesus and his wife rocked and they taught really great things (see Gospel of Judas), but it was considered heresy by the organised religion that made the NT (aka Catholics). What can you do?

'Roid rage. And he was bipolar. Perhaps there is no litium in heaven?
God is not violent? Someone hasn't read Genesis (Sodom and Gamorrah) or Job or my favorite 2 Kings 2:23-24, in which God commands two bears to kill *42 Children*. Children for Christ's skake!
"Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the LORD. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths."

I was disturbed when I read the Old Testament last year. God was not nice, and I can see why people fear him.
