Well this girl really likes me right now, but doesn't share the same feelings at the moment... I kinda feel bad for asking this question but I need help on how I can tell her I would only like to be seen as a friend...

I don't want to hinder her self esteem cause i already know that feeling... what's the best way to do this... I'm pretty sure one of us will end up bein hurt...,

Be nice about it. Girls are really sensitive about things. Whether you want to be seen as a friend of not she likes you and wil probably like you for a while. Even if you talk to her she will still like you.

You do need to talk to her and ask her to be your friend. Tell her that you aren't ready for a relationship in your life right now and that what you really need more than anything is a friend. Tell her that you appreciate her feelings and can get where she's coming from, but at this time in your life you can't reciprocate those feelings, but you don't want to lose her as a friend.

Sound good?

I've pretty much gotten this speech from about a dozen or so men. It's better to get this than to be told that the guy just plain ol' doesn't like you. You're not lying but you're not being annoyingly blatant.

I stayed friends with these guys but I stopped liking them after a while. As is with every crush it goes away eventually.

Hope things go well

Honesty is the best policy. If you keep being nice to her without telling her there is no possibility of romance, she;ll keep hoping. But this way she can be bummed for a bit, then realize she has another friend and look elsewhere for romance. It is a hard situation, I don't envy you. Sometimes people get defensive and insulted but just be honest and gentle.

Say I like you, but we're just not compatible, and it's probably because I have a lot of growing up to do.

The last part might even be true, eh?

It is always tough to let someone down. U just have to be honest and don't try to sugar-coat it as she may believe there is still sum kinda chance. Be as genuine as possible+
