Heriditary. I have had them all my life, but they got worse when I smoked or did not live healthy ie didnt go to bed on time etc. Now that I live healthy they dont look as bad as they used to.

You are certainly still growing so yes, a minimum of 8 hours a night of sleep is very necessary. Does this puffiness go away a little bit towards the end of the day? If so, you should try an eye cream called All About Eyes by Clinique. This works wonders, put it on first thing in the morning. I live in this stuff, actually, the new one, All About Eyes Rich, but try the original one out first. I put it on right when I wake up, before I even put my eyeglasses on. And it's instantly soothed. I've done an experiment before and put it on only one eye, that was a mistake, I was puffy almost all day under one one!

I'm 15 and have bags under my eyes too, i sleep about as much as you do, if not then less!! Mine started to develop a couple of years ago though, and just didn't go away. My parents don't have them, although my mum is quite fair n my dad quite dark skinned, so maybe it came form that?? Anyway, I hate them, and I really have tried every concealer and 'dark circle cream' going. My mum found me this stuff by St Ives, called 'Dark Circle Diminish-er and although it hasn't got rid of the bags completely, they aren't as dark as they once were anymore. You can get it from department stores, but its a bit pricey. Have a look on the Internet for it, you can get it for about £7.99 hope this helps xx

A lot of the time, bags under the eyes aren't caused by lack of sleep but just by the bone structure of your face and the way your skin lays over it. If you've got more than one bag, this is probably lack of sleep. You should shoot for a minimum of 8 hours of sleep.

Place 2 cold round cucumbers on your eyes. Rest them for 10 minutes. Drink more water and don't rub your eyes. If your eyes are red then drip in some eye drops. The colness from the cucumbers sooth and relax the area.
Good Luck!!!

make sure you are eating well...sometimes dark circles are caused by insufficient vitamins and minerals in your body...try putting an ice cold washcloth on your eyes each morning for about 10 minutes...its not too comfy but it works...drink lots of water...God bless
