I'm looking for people who use 'adaptive clothing' who are interested in helping with a thesis project. The thesis relates to people (or caregivers of people) with limited mobility, including but not limited to: spinal cord injuries, amputees, etc...

The difficulty getting in and out of clothes sometimes makes it neccesary to use special adaptive clothing. This clothing is designed to be more utilitarian than fashionable. The thesis is centered around making a fashionable line of clothing that is accessable to everyone.

If you are interested in helping with this project, or know anyone who is, please email me. Thanks.

Occupational therapists are the experts. Every hospital and nursing home will have at least one. You may want to interview one to find out all about adaptive clothing and its uses for a particular condition. They are located in the physical rehab department.

well, i suppose it would work on some, but not all-you will still have to move a quadroplegic around to get a piece of clothing on.
however, it might go great for those with a broken leg ect.

good luck!
