I do. I don't think saying you are an atheist does a whole lot for your image, although that is starting to change.

I belong to the single most hated and discriminated against segment of society, that is the American conservative Christian male. In this liberal "you-must-accept-everything-or-you-are-a-phobic-and-a-bigot" society we live in today, holding onto values and believing in ultimate right and wrong does not lend itself to "looking pretty. Believing that there is something morally, ethically, and culturally wrong with homosexuality isn't bigotry, it's taking a stance for the betterment of our society as a whole.

In all honesty, it would be easier not to have values and to live only by what a person wants. Fortunately, there have been too many events in my life which have proved that there is something beyond me and what I want. Those provide the foundation for me to build my life on and God provides the strength.

Only you can answer that one. If you pretend, you will think others pretend as well.

Only through reflection can you decipher what you believe, what you know, and what you think about the reality of your truth and grace.

I don't pretend to be anything I'm not-ever. I don't have to impress anyone. And YES, I believe with all my heart what I say I believe. Nothing or no one can make me change my mind.

The Bible says, "out of the heart, the mouth speaks". So positive words are very important because they mean you believe in yourself and have faith.

For better or for worse, I believe what I say I believe. I may not practice some of it well, but I tell the truth here.
