It really depends on the guns. What country are they from, and what condition are they in?

First of all, the sks is not a assult rifle. It was designed to be semi-auto, and only hold 10 rounds. You can pick up a decent Yugo for just over $100, sometimes less. For a very nice one around $150-$200 depending on where it was made.

The ak47 was an assult rifle, but im guessing yours is semi auto, so it is not an assult weapon either(unless its full auto). I have saw these go from any where from $250 to $700. again it depends on the condition, and where it was made. The ak also came in many variations, so I'm guessing some are more desireable than others. If it is automatic, then basicly just name some rediculous price and I'm sure someone would be willing to pay.

Now that the Ban is over these ahve dropped significantly in price. Before you couldn't get Pre-ban features on a brand new rifle, now that you can many people would prefer getting a new rifle for the same price as a used one. However if the AK-47 is a true automatic assault rifle, it would be worth at least $10,000. More than likely it is not, if that is the case then they would cost anywhere from $150-400 each.

The whole "pre-ban" thing is a myth that has been blown out of proportion by people that don't understand the law.

Neither of these rifles you list is anywhere near an "assault rifle"...that is unless you have a full auto AK.

Value also depends greatly on the make and model and rarity....and above everything condition.

For SKSs, Russians are most desirable then Chinese "Paratroop" short ones. AKs....There are so many it's hard to say but MAK90s from NORINCO China are certainly some of the best quality ever made.

Value is speculative without more info. SKSs run from $100 to $300, with a few rare specimens higher. Semi-auto AK variants $300 to maybe $600. These are for good to excellent condition and again, these values are a real shot in the dark and based on what I have seen for sale lately.

An unissued/unfired sks goes for 200-400$ depending on brand/quality/looks. You can pick up a used one at a gun dealer for $100, and more than likely the one you have was purchased for under that.

AK's are about in the same area, but may go slightly higher depending on brand.

Pre-ban no longer adds any value to "assault" rifles as the ban is no longer in affect.

Also the ammo you used in the rifles will affect their value. So if you used poorly made ammo like Wolf or something else steel cased, I wouldn't tell whoever is interested in buying them.

man the ban is over and so that isn't as much a factor in the value of your weapons as where and when they were made. A Chinese gun is worth more than a Russian which is worth more that a Yugoslavian, etc.... A Mac 90 is more valuable with a milled reciever than a stamped reciever. You need to provide more info if you want to know what a gun is worth.
