What is your reason for growing your hair long??, is it to attract girls or do you actually want long hair??.
If its to attract girls then youre not being the 'real you'. People should grow their hair, dress in what they like etc to reflect themselves, not to impress others.
Be your own person, you'll be happier and more proud of yourself.

Depends How long? Will you be taking really good care of it? I prefer a well groomed short haired man.. It's just a preference though.. I will guess probably not the type you been attracting..

Abercrombie long hair is generally good with preppy girls or surfer/skate girls. But if your hair is extremely long like a metal group's you will only attract punk/ rocker/ or sleazy girls. If you want preppy or rich girls, you need to "preppy-fy". Go and buy some polos, khakis and some K-Swiss or Diesel shoes.

I'm a shy university student with an english lit major.
I imagine there are many different "types" of girls who will like your long-haired look.
