Doesn't it suck that of the first two kids on earth, one of them killed the other? Which one was the murderer, the first child born on earth or the second? Didn't that murder have something to do with a sacrifice to God?

Cain was the first born. He killed Abel over jealousy over an offering to God. God appreciated (accepted) Abel's offering, but was not pleased with Cain's.

Cain the older killed younger Abel out of jealousy. God had accepted Abel's who hearted sacrifice, not Cain's half hearted one.

That is one of the first chapters in the Bible. Ya gotta read those stories. I am starting to read the Bible through for the sixth time and each time, I learn more and more. The stories become more and more interesting too.
