You know..kind of funny but I overheard someone talking about this today. She said that when this happened to her, she was told by medical personnel later that if it ever happened again, take coke (cola) and pour back and forth between to glasses (to remove fizz) and then drink that to settle your stomach. Hope it works.

If it quells down, get some milk of magnesia, or tums or rolaids.

You might have to maintain a diet log to find out if your allergetic to some foods, and if so, you have to find out what they are, and quit eating them, obviously. Milk products is one, believe it or not.
Make sure you keep getting liquids, even if you vomit more, because you might get dehydrated.
Oh, and another old bartender's trick is Bitters with soda water. In other words, a few drops of Worsheshire sauce in Soda water.

It really helps.
Also sleeping, whenever i'm vomiting and sick and stuff I try to fall asleep so I don't have to deal with the naesus (sp?) feeling and actuallu puking.

depends on why you are vomiting.

1) stop sticking your finger down your throat
2) if it's food poisoning or alcohol, let it come up
3) drink lots of water (if it's a fever or poisoning) so that you can puke up water and not 'dry heave'

Kopectate bought at just about any store in the U.S.
(do NOT drink milk, it makes it worse...) remember to drink water, gatorade, something with salt and potassium, which you lose when throwing up.

If you're looking to prevent nausea, sniff ginger. i got car sick a couple times and wierdly enough, it works. something about the smell calms it down.
