Don't need one is the best way to live. Needing someone to be happy guarantees you will have an unhappy life. He'll come along on his own and it happens when you are ready for a relationship and that takes some time.

However if you want some advice, if you are able to do so without getting emotionally involved, just chat with some boys who seem friendly to you. Nobody can have too many friends. You sound like your in school but say hi! to someone who is alone and talk to them at school.

If you are older just ask someone out for coffee. Again no one can have to many friends.

Then just cool it. You are worth having as a girlfriend and someone will come along, believe me. It's a natural process that takes care of itself. Trying to hurry it along doesn't work, but it will come when you least expect it.

first of all, you don't "need" a boyfriend.
i know its difficult to be single, especially when everyone else around you has a boyfriend...but think:
-you could be so desperate that you'd say yes to the first person. that person could be a horrible match for you.
-you could end up with someone who also feels like they "need" a girlfriend, and that could be trouble in itself. just being with someone to be with someone can just be destructive.
-you could end up with someone abusive, or into the wrong crowd...so maybe they don't have a girlfriend for a reason.
-you need to be wise and make good choices about who you date.
-be picky...get to know people first and make decisions based on how those people are to you and others. behavior is key.
-when you feel down about being the only single person in your group of friends, just realize...these friends probably won't end up with these guys for too long, and you'll use your time to find what you really want and what's really good for you.
-also, be careful about just dating anyone...i can't stress this enough. don't do things with a guy just so you can have a boyfriend...sex specifically. or anything like it...save that for when you're married or extremely ready for it. i know too many people who wish they had never done such things...and they're no longer with those guys that they were "so in love" with.

How long have you been single??...years or months??..well,i was like u too,i really want a boyfriend as i've been single for 2 yrs and more..it feels so damn lonely and get jealous when i see other couples..probably u should get out more,mix around with people,maybe your gf's friends,if they have many guy friends,that is..if u still dont get hooked to a guy,maybe its not ur time yet,there's a full year ahead of u,many things cud happen,who knows,by the end of this yr,u're already falling in love with a guy..so u know,if things dont work out the way u want them too,just sit around for awhile and think deeply,relax..dont rush..that's my advice..i've been lonely for so long,now i've just met the wonderful guy..that cud happen to u..:)
