Micro-evolution is a theory which is described by the adaptations of certain species to cope with their environment. This is also referred to as 'survival of the fittest'.
Macro-evolution is what people usually mean when they are talking about evolution in general. Evolution is still a theory and has yet to be proven beyond all doubt. It takes a great leap of faith to believe that your eyeball decided to get together by chance and start working as well as it does, and then to become a dependent part of a creature...because evolutionists will also tell you that your mitochondria developed independently before it became part of humans. Imagine putting all the separate parts of a Swiss watch into a coffee can, and shaking it for 30 billion years...then when you open the can, there sits a perfectly built Swiss watch, which keeps perfect time. You folks who believe in macro-evolution have more faith than I do...I believe that everything was designed by a superior who I choose to call God.

Evolution is not something to "believe in" any more than gravity is a belief to "believe in". It just is. It is the way things are.
If it upsets your religious beliefs then maybe it's time to ask yourself why you believe as you do. Don't get mad at reality for not being the way some uninformed childhood belief-system told you it should be.
Hey, the Earth is not flat. The Earth is way way more than six thousand years old. Gravity is real. Evolution happens. Our planet is round. Earth rotates on its axis once a day. Earth revolves around the sun once a year. If your church cannot come to terms with reality, then maybe it's time to find another church. I despise people who wrap themselves up in a tight cocoon of ignorance and refuse to accept facts.
There's a word for deliberate refusal to face reality and clinging to the claims of comforting fantasies. It's OBSCURANTISM. But reality will go on whether or not a few humans seek to deny it.

I no longer have the childhood ideas of God creating the world in exactly 6 24-hour days.
I know I evolved from a fertilized egg; whales used to be land animals -- that's why they are mammals and not fish. But like they asked yesterday morning on the radio....if we evolved from apes -- why are there still apes?
I also believe in creation -- created by a loving God. Who but God could create a baby? Or an orchid or a hummingbird?
If evolution trul ywas the way of things, there would be far more birth defects -- a foot where the nose should be or something. Ears would not be symmetrical, etc.

I didn't tell myself I wouldn't because I don't. I believe in God and Jesus Christ, and I will never believe evolution because I believe that God created the world and he created man, we didn't evolve from rocks or whatever.

No, I've been brainwashed into the Evolution cult since they made me do those expiriments with microscopes! Then my parents took my to zoos and made me look at monkeys and apes, and I was brainwashed that there was a connection, and i used my own mind and ahhhh!
I believe in Evolution.

I've never told myself that I'd never believe in something. That seems like an extremely stupid thing to do.

I never believed in evolution until I quit going to churches and started thinking and looking at evidence for myself.

Maybe my IQ is a little too high for this venue but I intuitively saw the logic before it was presented or proved for that matter .Please excuse my apparent lack of modesty but it seemed relevant at the time. :-)
