I've got the same problem. I love both sodas and here's the solution: go with what you feel. do you feel like mountain dew, or do you feel like a&w? there's no reason to permanently choose one over the other.

It depends, I can't really drink rootbeer for a whole week, but mountain dew on the other hand, yes. It's whatever you prefer, but I prefer mountain dew. Sprite is better then both of them!

mountain dew is always the best options for parties (maybe superbowl) because makes everyone hyper and has a less formal taste than root beer.

i don't really like either one, but if those are my only choices then A&W. you can make a darn good ice cream float with the rootbeer.
