Not for social status or technological advancement. The Bible can be studied like any other work of literature, but you'd have to go back to the original scriptures and read them in the language in which they were written. Anything else leaves room for misinterpretation and mistranslation. What is actually written would have to be examined along with other historical records at the time, and compared also with the sacred texts of other tribes, many of which contain various versions of the same stories that are in the Bible.

Hi, reading and mediating on the Bible will actually help a person become humble, because it tells us that God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. Social status wouldn't be an issue any more(at least here on earth) after you really embrace it, you may worry about social status in heaven, because that is where it really counts. The thing is the only way to get to heaven is asking Jesus his son to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart and life, when you do that, and you commit your ways to him, socially you will become a better person. As far as technological progression, the only thing I can say is that there is a scripture in the bible that says "I can do all things through Christ who stregthens me". I hope this helps, have a nice day!!!

Yes, without a doubt whatsoever. First of all, reading the Bible will give us the truth as to our standing in the eyes of God; which is most important to us than anything else. And it gives us the knowledge as to how to come into a right relationship with God. We will find out that it is only through his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. What could be more beneficial to anyone than this? Also, the Bible is food for our soul, our mind, our spirit, and every part of our life. As far as social status is concerned, this should not be our number one priority; but if we daily read the Word of God, He will see to it that we reach the position that He desires for us to reach; regardless of what may stand in our way. And as far as technological progression is concerned, if we daily read and believe the Word of God, He will always be with us to give us the wisdom that we need, in any circumstance that we may find ourself in. This includes when we have need of knowledge of any kind. Many times I have been in situations where I have had to turn to God for knowledge and understanding, even when I was just trying to do my job at work, or accomplish a particular thing, including performing many technical tasks. God is always there when we need Him; regardless of what the need may be; including knowledge of technical matters. The Bible tells us in Phil. 4:13, that I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. This includes performing tasks that I would otherwise never be able to complete; including technical matters; not just spiritual affairs.

There are many positive, moral teachings given by Jesus. But I reject the "son of God" thing. I would do like Thomas Jefferson did, cut those parts out and throw away the rest. Does make for an interesting read, but so do a lot of other books.

well it can help us socially because all it teaches is love towards others and let God do the judging. if everyone did that we would all be united with each other and create a great place to live in. It may not be perfect because of sin, but we could strive to be perfect.

this in turn would cause World peace and i think it would help us go father as a people under God.

"The bible contains with it the condition that different awareness should be denied or a minimum of ‘managed" What I hear you putting forward the following is that when someone encounters the reality of the note of God they ought to do something with it. one element should be to disclaim that that is reality and the different element is to renowned that is reality. you do not ought to "cope with" it in any respect to have self assurance in it. All Biblical prophecy that has been fulfilled thus far has been one hundred% precise. i imagine what you're lacking the following is the supernatural area of God. he's Spirit. You flow on to say "those who've not in any respect examine the bible don’t ought to disclaim or cope with the different awareness so their element of customary awareness continues to be unaffected" I dissagree, indiginous people communities, have a "God conciousness" (as all of us do). They learn about the spirit realm and performance diverse concepts about their author and the afterlife. this isn't something that they examine in a e book, that is inherint in all people because all of us flow again to a hardship-loose ancestor, Adam. in case you understand historic past then you absolutely understand that folk international huge in a good number of diverse and isolated aspects have storys of a international huge flood. The Bible is the inspired note of God. yet regardless of out it God can make Himself universal to you. i'm hoping you get to understand Him and are waiting to fulfill your maker at the same time as your days in this earth are over. all the finest to you - Redeemed

the bible increases our spiritual knowledge. Of our fallen (sinful) inner self(soul) and of GOD. It teaches us how to be better people, by loving our neighbor and GOD>
