I am 13 and my brother got rear ended by someone on the freeway and pushed him into another car. it was raining today by the way :) and we pulled over and all and the people who hit us got out and asked if everyone was ok and went back to their car cuz no one was hurt and they got in and took off before the police came. The police said it was hit and run. I was in the car by the way with my bro. Why am i still shaking from it? It happened earlier today at like 2:30 pm and its 8 pm now. Why am i still shaking and how long will it be before i am over it?

If you are still shaking in the morning, you should go to the hospital and have your spine checked out. If you were hit from behind, you could have suffered neck or back injuries.

If I was in your condition, I wouldn't feel better about the situation until after a neurologist had a look at me.

Hi 13. The shaking is coming from the shock of the accident. You will be ok when you get up tomorrow morning. Just been through one of them myself.

Your body makes Adrenalin when you are in stressful situations. You didn't have a way to burn it off, right away, like running or fighting so your body has this 'extra energy' chemical floating around and its making you shaky.. You'll be OK tomorrow.

all your muscles contracted. like a live wire sent 30,000 volts of electricty through your body, shocked.........you need to relax find a good quiet spot, put on your favorite music what ever, maybe massage your feet.
