I think one reason might be because I only eat one "balanced" meal per day and the others are small and on the go (granola bars, apples, etc) so I think my body is craving "good" meals but I can''t seem to fit it in my schedule with working, a family and medical school!

I agree that Vitamins would be good for you.
I think water helps, drinking lots of purified water.
V8 juice is really good until you can perhaps try to schedule in a healthy meal. Salads are excellent.

i just posted the same question!! and no answers yet. i am in college and i have the same problem. i snack a lot... and i eat enough, i think. but i get hungry at 9pm!! thats when im not supposed to it you know! so i am worried that this will become a habit and i will see the consequences later. i guess i am going to try to start the day by eating a larger breakfast, even though i am NOT hungry in the morning, and then I will just plan my meals and eat that and nothing else. i will just plan what i have to do eat I guess. My volleyball coach would tell me that the body is like a machine. that we must fuel it at the right time with the right stuff. so i guess we just need to plan more and make eating full meals a priority.
good luck!!!!

Probably not a tapeworm, but it could be fast metabolism.
You need to MAKE time for at least 2 more balanced meals, preferably 3, each day.

Pack a lunch or two; a salad with some fruit, leftovers from the "balanced" meal, which could be a pot roast, etc. Cold roast beef sandwiches are good and can be eaten fast.

bring stuff with you in a brown paper bag to work for lunch on your way to places like medical school and work if you can, grab something from a fast food place its not healthy but every once in a while it can fill you up
you said one of the reasons you cant fit it in is family. you can have your husband or boyfriend make or go get something for you. you shouldnt just skip meals. eat a bigger breakfist try to find sometime. and if your so busy you cant do any of these things, take a break!

probably fast metabolism.
to help, eat something with protein and something with carbs at the same time/snacking period. eating protein with carbs slows down the process and will take longer for you to get hungry again.

I think you just want the satisfaction of your stomach being full. You are not actually hungry.
