Yes b ut only until they dehydrate and die. Fleas and human lice are different species and fleas cannot survive on humans.

Fleas are more attracted to the cat than a human, but they do not live on hair, whether it is cat or human hair. They stay on the cat and will lay eggs there, but their prime interest is in getting their meals there. Cat and dog blood apparently tastes better than human blood, so they will go to the cat or dog if the option is available. Fleas can easily jump 6 to 8 inches, and often more, to reach their food target.
Usually, after eating, they leave the animal and lay their eggs wherever they find suitable. Once hatched, the hatchlings will also search for food, and they mature VERY quickly, so the cycle continues unless you treat the house properly.
Fleas will nest anywhere in the house that they find convenient, again, with a preference to being near to a food source, but they can live without eating anything for much longer than a human or cat can survive.
If you have a wide infestation as it seems then you will need to use a whole-house pesticide to get rid of them.
Carpet cleaning will reduce the numbers, but not eliminate the problem, as they breed VERY frequently. A long-lasting pesticide such as Diazinon (which may not be available in your area, or may be available only for professional use) can be applied on carpets and all nooks/crannies at floor level after your pets are removed from the premises, and it must be allowed to dry thoroughly before allowing the pets to return. Vacuum after one week, and reapply the pesticide. Try to keep your pets away from the areas, if at all possible, even if that is uncomfortable for them.
Meanwhile, do a full flea shampoo treatment on your pet.
All flea shampoo and pesticides should be used according to directions. If in any further doubt, ask a professional.
Your girlfriend can get rid of them by simply washing and rinsing her hair very thoroughly in a full shower, not a bath. The shower is used because the fleas will migrate toward any dry area, such as ears, the same as they do when washing your pet.
Once the head is thoroughly wetted, rub the shampoo in and rinse immediately, to remove any loose fleas. Repeat the shampoo, keeping the head very wet, and rub the scalp with the shampoo for a minute. Let the shampoo remain for about 30 seconds before rinsing. This will encourage any other live fleas to try to move, but they will get caught in the shampoo and can be rinsed away. If eggs are attached to the hair follicles or scalp, the rubbing will help to loosen them. Shampoo each day the same way for several days and even the most stubborn as well as any newly-hatched, should all be gone.

Cat fleas don't live on hair - they live on blood sucked from the host.
It's most unlikely that she has cat fleas, more a coincidence that she has picked up human fleas.

Yes, but they generally won't if there are cats or dogs in the area. Fleas go to the warmest area possible, and since cats have a higher body temperature than humans, they will choose to live on the cat instead of the human.

Although the cat flea prefers to chew on an animal, it's not averse to biting exposed human flesh. Some people appear to be very attractive to fleas and the appearance of red itchy spots around their ankles and legs is often the first indication of fleas in the house.

Yes - it is not like lice that have their own little territories (head lice being different than body lice) Fleas just like any kind of blood and need to hide in hair - but I would just try to drown them and not use animal flea products on a human head. Look for some natural remedies - like baby powder or baking soda that will dry them out and make them die.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7cV
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

They can live anywhere dude.
In the carpet etc.. You need to get ride of them They bite.
Even if you fix the cat, if you don't get them out of the rug the cat will get them again.
Get a flea collar but you still need to shampoo the rugs. You'll know if you have them because you'll see little red marks on your legs and it will itch.
