okay, i told this guy i liked him and we were really good friends before.... now he seems different???

okay, well i have been really good friends with a guy for a long time and i finally got the courage to talk to him and tell him. we still talk and all about normal things and we are doing normal stuff, nothing has changed. does he like me or not?
we have talked on hte phone and we give eachother smiles when going down the halls, but we did that before. how can i tell if he likes me without actually asking him?
